Our story

EchoResta was founded by Ivorian hotel and restaurant professionals, convinced that a service profession is learned first and foremost by practising it. Since our first graduating classes, we have combined theory classes, practical workshops and on-the-job immersion.

Today, more than 2,500 trainees have been trained and work in the hotels, restaurants and partner establishments of Abidjan and the wider region.

What we teach

Ten hotel and restaurant professions

EchoResta trains people for the jobs most in demand by Abidjan’s hotels, restaurants, lounges and caterers: cook, waiter and hostess, maître d’hôtel, bartender, receptionist, room attendant and valet and housekeeper.

For professionals who want to move up, the school also offers courses in hotel management, restaurant management and English for tourism and hospitality.

The school is located at Angré Star 14, in the district of Cocody. Its courses are open to candidates from every district of Abidjan — Cocody, Yopougon, Abobo, Adjamé, Plateau, Marcory, Koumassi, Treichville, Port-Bouët, Bingerville… — as well as from the rest of the country and from West African countries.
